Steam - Basic Troubleshooting

If you are having problems with the Steam version of OOTP 17 (or previous versions), then please try the following:

- Open Steam and go to Library
- Right click on OOTP 17 and select Properties
- Select the Local Files tab and click on Verify Integrity of Game Files. This will check to see if the game files may have been corrupted.

If the integrity check is not successful or if you are still having problems, please also try the following:
- Go back to Library
- Right click on OOTP 17 and select Delete Local Content

Please note that this will uninstall the game from your computer and you will need to download and install it again.

If these steps do not help, please submit a ticket and provide us with as many details as possible

  • Which operating system do you use (Windows 10/8/7, Mac OSX, or Linux)
  • What is the exact problem or error message (provide a screenshot if possible)
  • Does the problem only occur in one league, or in all leagues?
